Purchase Questions

A: Yes, as a franchised dealer of Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, we are authorized to offer Mopar Vehicle Protection, a product of FCA US LLC (formerly Chrysler Group LLC), an authentic factory-backed extended warranty.
A: Since we sell to a national market without vehicle overhead, instead of just to our local dealership markets, we are able to offer volume pricing to our customers.
A: Yes, we can provide a new vehicle policy for almost any vehicle that is less than 4 years old and has less than 48,000 miles, and a used vehicle plan for vehicles with up to 125,000 miles, regardless of where you purchased the vehicle.
A: Yes, it doesn't matter how many owners there have been, as long as the vehicle qualifies by age and mileage. This applies to purchasing Lifetime and Unlimited Mile Plans, too.

General Questions

A: Your Vehicle Warranty is comprehensive product coverage that is provided to you by the manufacturer that protects you against product defects for a specified period of time or mileage. Your Mopar Vehicle Protection Warranty, a product of FCA US LLC, is additional protection that you purchased which provides you with specific component coverage that goes beyond the manufacturer's Standard Warranty period and extends your protection for the specific time and mileage duration you selected. Terms such as Chrysler extended warranty, Dodge Extended Warranty and Jeep Extended Warranty are used interchangeably with the term Mopar Vehicle Protection, a product of FCA US LLC, within this site.
A: Your responsibility is to properly operate, care for, and maintain your vehicle. All information regarding these subjects can be found in the owner's manual supplied by the manufacturer. You should retain all receipts regarding care and maintenance of your vehicle to avoid any misunderstanding as to whether the maintenance services were performed as specified by the manufacturer in your owner's manual.

Personal Use Coverage Questions

A: New Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan coverage and Certified Pre-Owned Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan coverage start at the ORIGINAL IN-SERVICE DATE OF THE VEHICLE (the date the vehicle was delivered to its original owner) and AT ZERO MILES, not upon expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Traditional coverage of Used or non-certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Plans begin on the CONTRACT DATE and CURRNT MILEAGE when you purchase the plan. Vehicles over 48 Months/48,000 Miles require a Mopar Service Contract to be in place on the vehicle or a completed vehicle inspection with any required repairs performed by an authorized Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat or Alfa Romeo dealer or service center prior to purchasing a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan.

Please visit our Document Library to download a Used Vehicle Inspection Form that can be email to us upon completion.
A: No, a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan does not effect the original warranty. It compliments it.
A: As with any other product, service contracts are subject to inflationary price increases. By purchasing Mopar Vehicle Protection, a product of FCA US LLC (formerly Chrysler Group LLC), you now can lock-in at today's cost. Plus, you may be entitled to benefits in addition to the basic factory warranty, such as car rental, lodging and meal reimbursement for warranty repairs required when you're traveling. Your plan can even include emergency roadside service for a jump-start, gasoline delivery, tire change, and locksmith service.
A: Lifetime and Unlimited Miles Vehicle Protection Plans have no time or mileage limits on mechanical coverage of the covered vehicle for the lifetime of the original owner(s) of Lifetime or Unlimited Mile Plans. The plan ends upon the death of that original contract purchaser(s), death of legal spouse or upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle.
A: Maximum Care Plans are exclusionary plans, and Added Care Plans and Added Care Plans are component inclusionary plans.

In short, Maximum Care covers everything (over 5,000 parts) except parts and labor for maintenance services and items used in such services, catalytic converter and particulate filters, glass, plastic lenses, light bulbs, body and paint items (including soft trim), snowplows, winches, trailer hitches and wear items (including tires, manual clutch assembly, brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, belts and wipers).

Added Care Plus covers 850+ components listed in the Added Care Plus brochure shown under the PLANS menu on our website.

Our Document Library provides complete contract information for both types of plans.
